About us

Built on a Simple Belief: You Deserve Better Care
CBSR was founded to give every patient, not just elite athletes, access to thorough, technology-driven lower limb rehabilitation.

Canberra Biomechanics & Sports Rehab (CBSR) was founded by Kenny Le in 2025 with a clear purpose: to provide in-depth, personalised lower limb care that goes beyond the standard appointment.

Too often, patients are given a diagnosis and sent home with generic stretches and a printout. At CBSR, we take the time to properly assess what’s going on. Using advanced biomechanical technology and functional testing, we build a plan that actually addresses the root cause, not just the symptoms.

Our motto, Rehabilitation. Movement. Performance., reflects the journey we take every patient on. We start by reducing your pain and addressing the injury. We keep you moving safely throughout your recovery. And we build your strength and conditioning so you come back stronger and more resilient than before.

Competitive athlete, weekend runner, parent worried about your child’s growing pains, or someone who just wants to get back to walking the dog without pain: you’ll receive the same thorough, evidence-based care.

Your Practitioner: Kenny Le

Role: Director & Principal Podiatrist | ASCA-Accredited Strength & Conditioning Coach
Kenny is a podiatrist who specialises in lower limb biomechanics, rehabilitation, and strength and conditioning. His approach combines the precision of podiatric assessment with the progressive loading principles of strength and conditioning, giving patients a more complete pathway from injury to performance.

Why Biomechanics & Sports Rehab?

“I’ve always been passionate about sports injury management, partly because I’ve been through it myself as an athlete. I know how much an injury can affect your training, your sport, and your daily life. What drives me is the problem-solving: analysing how someone moves, identifying the weak links, and building a plan that gets them not just pain-free but performing better. I love seeing people move better and believe they can get back to what they love.”

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine (Western Sydney University)
  • ASCA Level 1 Strength & Conditioning Coach
  • Lower Limb Dry Needling and Joint Mobilisation accreditation
  • Strength & Conditioning Coach for ACT Basketball (U16s & U18s)
  • Previous experience in Strength & Conditioning with ACT Touch Football, ACT Tennis, and Volleyball Australia
  • Ongoing professional development in sports medicine and podiatry, including interstate conferences, courses, and seminars

Kenny has built a reputation for thorough assessments, personalised rehab programs, and a genuine commitment to each patient’s goals. He believes in a multidisciplinary approach and works closely with sports doctors, exercise physiologists, and physiotherapists to ensure holistic care.
Outside the clinic, Kenny plays touch football and OzTag, skis, and spends his spare time outdoors with his family (including his dog).

What Makes CBSR Different

No Guesswork

No Guesswork

We use advanced technology (pressure plate insoles, VALD force plates, 3D scanning, and video gait analysis) to objectively measure how you move, how strong you are, and where the problems are. Every decision is backed by data, not guesswork.

We Keep You Moving

We Keep You Moving

Our goal is never to tell you to stop. Modifying your training load, taping, footwear changes, or adjunct therapies like dry needling and shockwave: we find ways to keep you active while you recover.

Long Term Results

Long-Term Results, Not Quick Fixes

Adjunct therapies help get you over the hump. But lasting results come from building real strength. Every patient leaves with a progressive exercise program designed to make you stronger and more resilient, so the injury doesn't come back.
